I am Alicia Bay Laurel, author, visual artist, singer/songwriter/guitarist and storyteller, a commune hippie in the late '60s and early '70s who documented those days in my 1970 back-to-the-land book, Living on the Earth, which is still in print in English, Japanese, Spanish and Korean, and soon in French!

What is in my store: Hippie back-to-the-land and spiritual books, original psychedelic folk music albums, goddess images and cosmic consciousness expressed as images on greeting cards, posters, matted art prints, magnets, t-shirts, coffee mugs, calendars, coloring books, tote bags and t-shirts. 

We carry my books in English, Spanish and Japanese. 

Once I realized that my store could sell music digital downloads, I decided to sell downloads of my own albums and to re-release the astonishing albums of my partner of the past 25 years, Joe Gallivan, a legendary presence on the modern music scene - a musician's musician, loved and respected by John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Eric Dolphy, Gil Evans, Larry Young, Frank Zappa, Lennie Bruce, Harry the Hipster, even Igor Stravinsky!
