Co-Evolution Quarterly was the magazine produced by the staff of the Whole Earth Catalog, whose poetic review launched Alicia Bay Laurel's book Living on the Earth in September 1970 (photo on this page).
Five years later, Alicia submitted "Raw Food Recipes from the Tropics," a handwritten and illustrated article, to Co-Evolution Quarterly, sharing what she had been learning while gardening, foraging, and developing raw vegan recipes in Hana, Maui. It was published in the Winter 1975 issue.
